Featuring the Lovely Sabrina Lerna... In the original reference photograph, she was wearing a blue gingham bikini, which I wasn't a huge fan of... So I decided to go for a more Hawaiian styled "Hibiscus Print"... Which I think is a little more exotic looking... (Mind you I don't like copying the reference photo exactly anyway =D).
Half way through painting this piece, I stepped back an thought to myself "I'm not liking the way the painting was turning out"... So I decided to play around with the composition a bit, and dropped the moon in on the background to add contrast and make her really pop out at you =)...

This one was fun to do... This was my first time painting tight curls... They came out better and took less time to do then I expected them to =D. My original reference photo was only from just below the knees up, so I had to do a bit of "Artisic Improvisation"

I had a bit of trouble subduing the colour scheme, as my paintings are usually vibrant and colourful...
This painting was inspired by a tutorial that I saw in a magazine showing you how to create a tornado in photoshop

My rendistion of my friend's character Chardonnay. I have been working on this one on and off for a few months now (mainly off ^_~).

Chardonnay (the girl) was painted in Photoshop, using airbrushing and photographic textures in combination with layer blend modes. The background was rendered in Vue 5 Espirit.

Any comments will be greatly appriciated ^_^

This is my latest Character Xiu-Mei Fan. So new in fact tha I haven't come up with a back story for her yet. All that I have come up with so far is that she is a chinese princess whol likes to practice the art of Wu Shu.

I wanted it to the image to have a traditional chinese feel to it, so i got Her name translated by a lady who has a shop in China Town

Inspired by the Shao Lin show that I went to see late last year.

Cascade Faerie

This piece is entitled "Cascade Faerie"...
She is the guardian faerie of the waterfall, making sure that water is kept pure. After taking a shower onder the falls, she likes to fly up onto her favorite tree to dry off in the sun ^_^...
I was after a mystic, magical aura in this painting, but since i'm new to fantasy art, i'm not quite sue if I have acheived that... Any tips and critiue would be much appreciated ^_~
Thanx
